Clinical Studies versus Certification Tests

NSF/UL/WQA all follow these water guidelines - http://www.aquascience.net/water-standards.cfm So if your water falls within this range, you get certified.

Please visit www.NSF.org and you will see they are like SIRIM - testing anything from car parts to clothes washers. Like Sirim, they set minimum standards that the local government considers safe for consumers.

http://www.nsf.org/consumer/faucets/index.asp?program=Faucets is another site that refers back to the EPA guidelines on water safety - namely less than .025 percent lead content. EPA has minimum standards on water safety and NSF checks for the minimum standards.NSF tests minimum standards 0.25% lead content versus EPA micro-biological standards of 0.00001% lead content. As an informed consumer, which would you prefer?

http://engineers.ihs.com/news/epa-ul-ucmr2.htm - says EPA approves UL testing. When I read that, I can only conclude that EPA is the highest body, that can grade any air or water products. So any products that carry the EPA certification, in my mind are the highest grade.

http://www.ul.com/global/eng/pages/offerings/industries/waterandfood/water/waterlab/resources/ This link says water is tested for 24 and 48 hours only. But its common knowledge that for any certification tests, they only test the water for 1 or 2 days. But if your water system works in your house until you change your filter, would you want a test on the water, the day before you are supposed to change your filter?

There is a very big difference between a clinical study and a certification test.

With 2 clinical studies at University of Arizona and the Institute Pasture in France, together with the EPA certification that the Seagull IV is a "Micro-biological Purifier - able to remove 99.99999% of all contaminants in the water" - far exceeds the minimum standards.

The clinical study done at University of Arizona is the last drop test - meaning the last of the 4,000 litres that successfully passed through the faucet. The Seagull IV cartridge once full, will not allow any more water through, unlike all the rest of the systems, that allow you to continue using, long after the safe water period is over. Many tests will check the first 24 or 48 hours water only.

The clinical study done at the Institue Pasteur France was the incubation test - where billions of viruses and bacteria was put into the Seagull IV, left for 30 days, and then the purified water was tested. This is the most comprehensive test which EPA used, as a guideline to grade "Micro-Biological purifiers"

A copy of both these clinical studies will be uploaded to my blog shortly.

Only the Seagull IV can remove 99.99999% of all viruses, bacteria, heavy metals and chemicals in the water, up till the last drop.

I have happily used my unit for 20 years. At today's price of RM2,997, it works out to a capital cost of just RM 150 per year. Most people will spend RM3,000 on a tv or mobile phone, but to invest in the safest water for the whole family to drink, is expensive.

Remember, a good water purifier will enhance your health, and protect your kidneys, by not adding more chemicals and heavy metals into our already contaminated body.

Let the buyer beware. And now that you are a better informed consumer, you can certainly make the best choice for the health of your family and yourself.

Modified water or Natural spring water

Would you prefer genetically modified food or home/farm grown natural/organic food? Silly question right. But many people think modified water, is better than natural spring water.

So what is natural spring water anyway?.

Simply put - water that is sweet to taste and has the dissolved minerals and oxygen, but without any viruses, parasites, heavy metals or any other contaminants. That's the ultimate water you can ever ask for.

If you could get this natural spring water directly from your tap, would you take it?. Another silly question, but of course you certainly will.

So over the years, marketing has convinced you, that water that is distilled, RO, alkaline, energy, alpha, omega, etc is good for you. Remember though, that these types of water is modified and over years, will certainly damage your cells and organs.

Only an EPA certified microbiological purifier like the Seagull IV, can give you sweet natural spring water.

The Seagull IV water purifier has 2 clinical studies from the Univeristy of Arizona and the Institute Pasteur France, proving the Seagull IV water purifier can remove 99.99999% of all contaminants, up till the last drop.

So everytime you turn on the Seagull IV water purifier, you get natural spring water that is sweet to the taste and safe till the last drop.

Made by General Ecology in USA, this Seagull IV water purifier carries a 10 year guarantee. Now that's the best investment you can make for your home and family!

See the 5 minute Clorox demonstration

Most filters claim to be able to filter out chlorine in the water. But have you seen the Seagull IV purifier actually filter out Clorox - the grandfather of chlorine?

Well my demonstration only takes 5 minutes and I will drink the clorox water after purifying with the Seagull IV. See it to believe it.

I would love to see other brands out there and have them try out the clorox challenge.

Only the Seagull IV has been clinically proven at the Institute Pasteur, France and University of Arizona, to REMOVE 99.99999% of all heavy metals, chemicals and viruses consistently, till the last drop. Meaning, if water still flows out of your purifier, it is safe to drink.

Visit my eBay store to invest in the Seagull IV water purifier and enjoy a 10 year guarantee!

Nature Pure ( Seagull IV ) test results in Singapore

In the process of developing the Nature Pure ( Seagull IV by General Ecology ) System over the past 32 years, many vigorous and extensive tests through various International Scientific and Medical Institutions have been conducted to evaluate the quality of this system.

As a responsible company, Unicity Singapore has taken the initiative to carry out further tests on the Nature Pure System in the context of Singapore application. The tests were done by a Local Authority to determine the removal of harmful Chemicals, Bacteria and Heavy Metals, all of which are of concern to public health. The results show that Nature Pure purified water complies with the Authority’s guidelines for drinking water.

Furthermore, we would like to take this opportunity to highlight to you the following two of the most significant tests done previously by General Ecology, USA:

1. Evaluation of Nature Pure System with Ultrafine Cartridge according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA ) Guide Standard and Protocol for evaluation of Microbiological Water Purifiers. The tests were conducted by the University of Arizona and the Certified Reports are given on pages 16, 17, 18 & 19 of the Nature Pure Training Manual.

2. Evaluation by the world renowned Pasteur Institute in Paris to assess Nature Pure’s ability to remove a broad range of Pathogenic Bacteria including not only water-borne, enteric pathogens but also some additional characterizing species. Also, to investigate the potential hazard from bacteria breeding within the purifier during an extended non-use period and the ability of the unit to purify after this period of dormancy. The detailed Test Results are shown on pages 30, 31 & 32 of the same Manual.

If you are in Singapore and interested to view the test results, please contact me. Kindly note that the Local Singapore Test Reports are not meant for mass circulation.
