Its shopping season and everyone is just buying and buying.
Got a call this week from someone wanting to change his RO system to a water purifier.
Here was the costing i did for him on the Nature Pure costing and asked him to do his own calculation for his RO system.
1. Capital Cost RM3,200 with a 10 year guarantee = RM0.88 daily.
2. Operating Cost
a) filters/parts at average consumption of 3 litres daily for a family of 4 = RM500 or RM 1.37 daily
b) electricity cost for producing 4,380 litres of water = RM0.00
c) water cost for producing 4.38 m3 at RM0.57 = RM2.50 per year
With the new electicity and water increases coming in 2008, a distiller or RO system will incur huge operating costs and it's about time to upgrade to a Nature Pure Seagull IV Water Purifier.
RM3,200 is a small price to pay for healthy alkaline water to drink and cook with for the next 10 years. Protect your kidneys from the chemicals and heavy metals in the water and be safe, not sorry. Expensive for dialysis or cheap to get the best water system for your family?
Visit my ebay store to get a unit before 28December (before the price increase of RM800 in 2008) , and keep yourself and your family safe.

Did you read the flyer and are you enoying the taste
I was having dinner with friends when one of them mentioned she just bought a brand A water filter for nearly RM4,000. I asked her first 2 questions - Did you read the flyer and are you enjoying the taste of the water. For both questions, her answer was No!.
Oh well, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but here were my 8 questions to her.
1. 1 year guarantee of 10 years guarantee
2. Did the flyer say reduce the contaminants in the water or REMOVE 99.99999%
3. Uses electricity, so isn't it dangerous with your young children
4. Do you like the taste of the warm water that comes out
5. How long before you replace the filter and lamp - is it 4,000 litres or more
6. What is the operating (lamp, filter & electricity) cost per litre - is it less than 8 centre per litre
7. What is the maximum filter pore size - is it maximum of 0..4 micron as the smallest water borne virus is 0.5 micron.
8. How does the carbon filter remove the dissolved heavy metals like lead, asbestos, arsenic and mercury.
Sometimes, if you dont ask the right questions, you land up paying a premium for the brand name. With the Nature Pure Purifier, you and your family can enjoy, safe and delicious purified water for the next 10 years - guaranteed!

20 sen a litre water dispenser
I was sharing the water purifier with a friend yesterday, and he wanted to compare the price per litre with the 20 sen per litre dispensers. He has a family of 4 and averages 6 litres daily or 22,000 litres over 10 years.
So let's see some costing I shared wtih him based for the next 10 years:-
Nature Pure Purifier................................... = RM 3,997 - 10 year guarantee
Add 1 replacement prefilter........................ = RM 127 - free delivery
Add 4 replacement cartridges @ RM 437... = RM 1,748 - free delivery
Water Cost 22,000 @ RM 0.57/1,000........ = RM 13
Total cost based on his family consumption = RM 5,885
What about the 20 sen per litre costing?
22,000 litres over 10 years @ 20 sen........... = RM 4,400
Alternate days drive 1km to pick up water
Petrol & maintenance @ 30 sen/km.
Total 1825km @ 30 sen.............................. = RM 548
4 x 3l Drinking water bottles for storage..... = RM 40
Time cost 30 mins x 1825 trips x RM 1........ = RM 912 - RM2/hr!
Total cost of 20 sen water dispenser ..= RM 5,900
Needless to say, the maths was simple enough, for any dummy to invest in a Nature Pure Water Purifier unit for their home!
